I am a Genetic Counselor in Reproductive Genetics. My primary role is to meet with families who have a higher chance of having a baby with a genetic condition or birth defect. My goals are to provide families with information about a specific condition, discuss testing, management, and/or treatment options, and provide psychosocial support throughout the process. My approach to counseling is to present technical information in a way that is meaningful to the individual.
