Dr. Gross is a traumatologist, or an orthopaedic surgeon that treats difficult fractures and fractures that fail to heal or heal incorrectly. He is currently involved in several clinical studies involving complex fractures. What motivates Dr. Gross is his understanding of how orthopedic injuries effect his patients' and their families' lives and how long recovery can take.

Dr. Gross earned his medical degree and a Masters degree in Public Health at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Einstein University in the Montefiore Medical Center in New York. Then, Dr. Gross completed an orthopaedic trauma fellowship at Grant Medical Center in Columbus Ohio. He is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics. He is a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association.
