Portrait

Dr. Humphrey is a traumatologist, or an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the treatment of difficult fractures. Her primary motivation is to help injured patients and their families through what can be the most difficult and potentially life-altering period–the period following a traumatic injury. No two patients are quite the same. It is the individualized treatment Dr. Humphrey provides to heal her patients that she finds most satisfying.

Dr. Humphrey earned her medical degree at the MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Then, she completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Oregon Health and Science University and an orthopaedic trauma fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. She has authored medical journal articles and spoken before international audiences on subjects including experimental treatments to heal spinal cord injury and preventing injury to the lungs and brain that result from the body's own response to fractured bones. Dr. Humphrey is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics.
