Dr. Dadiz's focus is on postgraduate medical education and the evaluation of simulators as educational tools for teamwork and skills training. Through a collaborative effort between the Obstetric and Pediatric departments, multidisciplinary teams comprised of residents, fellows, nurses, nurse practitioners and physicians participate in simulated high-risk delivery scenarios using high-fidelity mannequins. Dr. Dadiz is evaluating whether teamwork amongst Obstetric and Pediatric providers and patient outcomes would be improved through simulation-based training.

1. Development of methods to improve residents' active learning in their neonatal education.

2. How residents translate their education in the NICU into their careers post-residency training.

3. Evaluation of high-fidelity simulators in the training of housestaff, nurses and respiratory therapists in delivery room resuscitations and patient codes in the NICU.

4. Long-term effects of inhaled nitric oxide for the management of pulmonary hypertension in the newborn.
