Dr. Jeffrey A. Gusenoff joins University of Rochester Medical Center as an Assistant Professor of Surgery. A native of Boston, Massachusetts, he earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from Johns Hopkins University and School of Medicine.
From 2002 to 2007, Dr. Gusenoff completed residencies in both general and plastic surgery at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
He continued his training as a fellow in body contouring and life after massive weight loss at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he also served as a clinical instructor in plastic surgery.
With special interests including post weight loss plastic surgery combined with lifestyle and nutritional counseling to maintain weight loss, Dr. Gusenoff will also collaborate with Highland Hospital bariatric physicians to provide safe and effective surgical options that meet each patient's goals and expectations.
Dr. Gusenoff has authored numerous publications and was a two-time recipient of the Joseph M. Serletti, M.D. Resident Award for Excellence in Academic Plastic Surgery.
