Portrait

I am a physician-scientist board certified in neurology, with fellowship training in movement disorders and dementia.

I provide comprehensive clinical care for patients with movement disorders including Parkinson disease, dystonia, and essential tremor, as well as patients with atypical dementias (particularly those with combined cognitive and motor impairments).

My research interests are focused on the neurobiological mechanisms underlying the control of movement and behavior, and applying this knowledge to refining treatments for movement disorders to provide enhanced benefit with fewer side effects.
