John P. Deveikis, M.D.

Dr. John Deveikis received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts, and then completed a surgical internship and radiology residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Then, fellowship training for diagnostic neuroradiology at Georgetown University Hospital and for diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology at the University of Western Ontario was completed. In the ensuing two decades, Dr. Deveikis has focused his career in the area of interventional neuroradiology, which consists of minimally invasive imaging guided treatments for neurological, especially neurovascular conditions. Practicing and developing the specialty at institutions including Georgetown University, the University of Michigan, and the Medical University of South Carolina, he has amassed extensive experience in the field. He has engaged in scholarly activity on the field, including peer-reviewed journal articles and has co-authored the new gold-standard reference book on the topic, entitled Handbook of Cerebrovascular Disease and Neurointerventional Technique. Dr. John Deveikis is also the Director of Endovascular Neurosurgery.
