The University of Rochester Medical Center welcomes Dr. Jason K. Kim as Assistant Professor of Surgery. Dr. Kim earned his bachelor of science degree in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Engineering and Applied Science and his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, School of Medicine. Dr. Kim later completed his general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Dr. Kim is American Board Certified in general surgery and is licensed in the states of Louisiana and New York. In addition to being the recipient of numerous awards and honors, he has authored a wide variety of publications and has presented at national meetings.

Dr. Kim is also a member of professional organizations including the American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, Society of Vascular Surgeons and Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society, among others.
