Our research program focuses on mechanisms underlying gene environment interaction in pregnancy. We are interested in elucidating how environmental factors influence epigenetic regulation of developmental-relevant genes including imprinted genes, and how exposure modulates maternal-fetal health.

Intersection of immunology and environmental exposure. Building on my PhD in reproductive immunology, with a particular emphasis on endometriosis, I am now dedicated to understanding how endocrine-disrupting chemicals influence immune cells, such as T cells and macrophages, at the maternal-fetal interface. This work could lead to better understanding and prevention of reproductive disorders and improve maternal and fetal health outcomes

My passion for toxicology and biomedical research is vested in my interests in cell and molecular signaling, translational science, and my desire to improve the health of communities and reduce health disparities through the lens of scientific research. I am particularly interested in maternal health and child development.
