A Medical Mystery of Epidemic Proportions (Short Version)

What is causing an epidemic of diarrhea? Students conduct simulated tests to identify the disease causing pathogen and determine why people who have been vaccinated or had the disease do not have immunity. Students also determine how the new pathogen could have evolved.

Explore a case study about an epidemic of diarrhea.
