LSLC Field Trip programs for middle and high school students take place at our fully equipped teaching laboratories at the University of Rochester Medical Center. LSLC Field Trip programs include a variety of hands-on lab experiences and engage students in solving real-life science problems. Students utilize science inquiry processes, practice basic lab skills, and gain experience with technologies such as agarose gel electrophoresis.

Middle school LSLC Field Trips are 2 hours long, and high school LSLC Field Trips are 3 hours long. Cost varies by program and class size. Please note that student do not stay for lunch. Educators can also select to have our hands-on activities conducted at their school through our LSLC On the Road program.
