Partnering/Collaborating Organizations

The FLCEAD collaborates with other organizations to reach its goals. Collaborators include the HRSA-funded Finger Lakes Geriatric Education Center (FLGEC), the Rochester/Finger Lakes Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, Lifespan, the Finger Lakes Caregiver Institute, and Common Ground Health. Through this network of collaborators, the FLCEAD is able to link families with a wide array of supportive programs and services; and strong networks of extensive experience in strategic planning, program development, and evaluation.

In addition to these partners, the FLCEAD also mobilizes resources and skills of health and human service organizations throughout the catchment area.

Through collaboration with the Alzheimer's Association and the FLGEC, we expect to enhance the dementia capability of aging and human service organizations throughout the region in an effort to bolster the availability of much needed support services for persons with AD/D and their family caregivers.
