The University of Rochester is partnering with four organizations to develop and implement the FLCEAD. Partners include Common Ground Health (formerly FLHSA), the Rochester/Finger Lakes Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, Lifespan, and the HRSA-funded Finger Lakes Geriatric Education Center (FLGEC). Our partners bring access to a wide array of related programs and services; key collaborators in the region; relevant subject matter expertise; and strong networks of extensive experience in strategic planning, program development, and evaluation.
In addition to these partners, the FLCEAD will also mobilize resources and skills of health and human service organizations throughout the catchment area.
Through collaboration with the Alzheimer's Association and the GWEP, we expect to enhance the dementia capability of aging and human service organizations throughout the region in an effort to bolster the availability of much needed support services for persons with AD/D and their family caregivers.
