Lynsey Garver, BSN, IBCLCLynsey is a registered nurse in the NICU at UR Medicine's Golisano Children’s Hospital. She has been working with families and babies here for 15 years as a bedside nurse. Lynsey began to focus on lactation after beginning her own family. She obtained her CLC and went on to achieve accreditation as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2013. Lynsey strives to empower and educate mothers so that they can provide optimal nutrition for their babies. She also works as a lactation consultant, providing lactation education and support in the home post-discharge.
