Biography

I chose the field of hepatology/hepatic oncology because it is very near and dear to my heart. It allows me to think critically in all aspects of medicine as I deal with treating liver disease and liver cancer.

It is my belief that there is a human being and feeling behind every disease. This is why my patients can depend on me to be considerate and empathetic. I am also a human being first – and a caring person next.

Conditions I Treat:

- Hepatocellular/liver cancer
- Liver failure
- Chronic liver diseases

At URMC, we believe that patients should be empowered to make the right decisions regarding their personal healthcare. To do so, transparency is critical.
