Dr. Miller, a Rochester native, specializes in head and neck cancer and microvascular reconstructive surgery. He received his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse and comes to the University of Rochester after completing residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and advanced fellowship training in head and neck oncologic surgery and microvascular reconstruction at Ohio State University.

An assistant professor in Otolaryngology, Miller specializes in cancers of the head and neck, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and anterior cranial base surgery, among other areas. His research interests include considering the role of human papilloma virus in head and neck cancers, novel surgical approaches in head and neck surgery, and delineating optimal treatment paradigms for oropharyngeal carcinoma. Dr. Miller has published in many leading journals, and has written several review articles and textbook chapters.

A Rochester native, Dr. Miller earned a Bachelor of Arts from Elmira College and then received his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. Dr. Miller comes to the University of Rochester after completing his residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He then completed advanced fellowship training in head and neck oncologic surgery and microvascular reconstruction at The Ohio State University.
