Leg and back pain study

Research Question:
Will this injection help reduce the pain you have in your legs and/or back?

Basic Study Information

Purpose:
This research study will compare a new steroid (dexamethasone) injectable gel, named SP-102, to placebo (an injection with no active part). SP-102 is not able to be sold as a drug yet as it has not been approved for marketing by the FDA. Eligibility: Age 18-70 years; recent back pain episdoe; leg pain worse than back pain; no history of back surgery
