Cardiac Rehabilitation

This program is designed for people who have been diagnosed with heart disease or who have recently had a heart-related event like a heart attack.

  • We provide weekly cardiac education classes on heart health, healthy eating and exercise, cardiac risks and other important topics.
  • You will work closely with our doctors, nurses, dietitians and other professionals to customize your program to you.
  • The program improves strength, flexibility. and fitness, which enables you to return to a healthier and more productive lifestyle.

Cardiac rehab is covered by most insurance plans, with the patient only responsible for any co-pay.

The URMC Cardiac Rehab Phase II program is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
