Women's Health Course

GYN courseThe periFACTS® Women's Health Course is a value added component included in the Obstetrics and Fetal Monitoring and the Antepartum/Postpartum programs, as part of our best-selling periFACTS® Online Continuing Education Program curriculum.

This course is included for FREE with every Obstetrics and Fetal Monitoring program or Antepartum/Postpartum program subscription.

Starting in August 2016, in response to our subscribers’ evolving continuing education needs, we have broadened our Gynecology course to become our Women's Health course in order to cover a wider range of important topics in women’s health care.

The Women's Health course includes one article and one online review test addressing a clinical topic focusing on women's health.

Women's Health Course Overview:

  • The periFACTS® Women's Health Course is based on a 12-month curriculum.
  • Each month, OB/GYN nurse and physician specialists at the University of Rochester and a broad range of medical specialists who, in addition to their clinical duties, prepare and distribute the following:
    • One article devoted to a women's health topic
    • One online review test that relates to the women's health topic
  • Participants have the opportunity to complete 12 Women's Health courses each year.
  • All test questions are presented in a multiple choice, true/false, multiple-answer, or matching format. Tests are corrected automatically and participants receive immediate feedback on their test results.
  • This course is offered exclusively with the periFACTS® Online Continuing Education Program.
  • At least 1.0 CNE Contact Hour and 1.0 CME Credit is awarded upon successful completion of each Women's Health course.
  • A certificate is available to view and print immediately upon successful completion of the course.
