Haggerty-Friedman Psychosocial Fund for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics The Haggerty Friedman Psychosocial Fund promotes the practice of and training in developmental and behavioral pediatrics at the University of Rochester. We support the advancement developmental and behavioral health of infants, children, adolescents and their families through research, education, evidence based clinical practice, and advocacy. We offer a variety of research training opportunities for medical students, residents, and fellows on-site at the University of Rochester. Year Out Program Program for University of Rochester medical students. Students receive a mentored research experience in a topic related to developmental and behavioral pediatrics. The student project developed in collaboration with a research mentor will be submitted to the Haggerty-Friedman Fund for review.
