Participate in the Challenge Fund We Challenge You to Help Children Donations will help expand our bedside medical research and communicate new discoveries to patients, families, and medical care teams. Funding would provide both immediate and long term benefits to our medical community. In the short term, patients and families will have an enhanced bedside opportunity to learn about and participate in important research trials. In the long term, we will enhance the ability for our research discoveries to change the outcome of disease. These funds will be instrumental in maintaining and growing the excellent quality of medical care at Golisano Children’s Hospital. Please Sponsor or Join the Challenge The Talon’s Ski Challenge - Saturday March 2, 2013 In the Talon’s Challenge, an organized event at Beaver Creek, Colorado, Dr. Kate Ackerman will tackle over 24,000 vertical feet in one day to complete 14 black diamond and double black diamond ski trails. These high altitude runs include the World Cup Birds of Prey downhill course as well as difficult mogul runs on Grouse Mountain and in Larkspur Bowl.
