Area construction vendors hit the slopes to show support
Close to 150 people gathered at Bristol Mountain Feb. 9 in support of UR Medicine’s Golisano Children’s Hospital’s Ski Invitational. Representing 51 different Rochester-area construction and contractor vendors, guests enjoyed a full day on the mountain, as well as a delicious feast back at the lodge.
Organized by avid skiers Paul Tessoni of the John W. Danforth Company and Mark Schwartz, director of facilities at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), the 13th annual event raised $82,500 in sponsorships, making its grand total over the years more than $600,000.
