Maurice Hopkins, MDiv, BCC

My chaplain career began here at URMC with my chaplain internship in the Clinical Pastoral Education program.  Once I finished my seminary degree, I returned to URMC to do my chaplain residency with a specialization in pediatrics. In 2014 I was hired full-time as the first pediatric chaplain in the children’s hospital. In my role as pediatric chaplain, I provide spiritual support to patients and their families on all units in Golisano Children’s Hospital.

In addition to my role as chaplain, I serve as member of the Pediatric Memorial Service Planning Committee at Golisano Children’s Hospital.
