Robert Holloway Steps Down as KL2 Program Director, Succeeded by Thu Le

After serving 17 years in the role, Robert Holloway, MD, MPH, is stepping down as the director of the UR CTSI’s KL2 Career Development Program. Effective July 1, he will be succeeded by Thu Le, MD, chief of Nephrology.

We know that chronic exposure to high levels of a flavoring chemical found in coffee can cause lung damage, but a new UR CTSI-supported study suggests that even short-term exposures to this chemical can damage the lungs of mice when paired with a mild case of flu.
