Cornell University/University of Rochester Collaborative Trans-Institutional Pilot Award Program in Immunity and Infection

The purpose of this Pilot Award Program is to promote new inter-institutional, multidisciplinary collaborations between the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University (Ithaca) and the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, in the domain area of “Immunity and Infection”.  Preference will be given to proposals that are highly innovative, interdisciplinary and have a high potential for follow-on funding.  Funding will not be provided for existing or established collaborations.

The pilot award will be for one-year, with $50k in total funding, allocated 50/50 between Cornell University and the University of Rochester. Pilot award proposals must involve a principal investigator (PI) from College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University (Ithaca) and a PI from the UR School of Medicine and Dentistry (SMD).

The application deadline has been extended to 5:00 PM on May 9th.

Note: Applications need to be a single integrated application including University of Rochester and Cornell University bios and budgets.
