George M. O'Brien Kidney Research Centers

The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) invites applications for George M. O’Brien Kidney Research Core Centers. Core Centers should provide shared institutional and national resources to facilitate basic and clinical research on kidney disease and improve the effectiveness of translating insights from basic biology to clinical practice. The Centers will also support pilot and feasibility studies to develop and test innovative approaches to therapy.

This is a limited submission program; the University may only submit one (1) grant application. Interested faculty must submit an abstract, CV, and budget to Dean Ed Puzas ( by August 6, 2012, using the words “Kidney Research” in the subject line. Dean Puzas will choose a candidate by August 13, 2012.
