Formal Conferences

The Department holds weekly grand rounds and case conferences, as well as monthly journal club and monthly morbidity and mortality meetings. Formal conferences are held to advance the residents knowledge of basic science, medicine, physical diagnosis, adult and pediatric anesthesia, oral and maxillofacial pathology, dentoalveolar surgery, oral implantology, orthognathics, interdisciplinary trauma management, and evidence based review of contemporary oral and maxillofacial surgery topics guided by the parameters of care established by the AAOMS.
