Some 300 people turned out to help us kick off our Centennial Celebration! Since George Eastman established the Dental Dispensary on Main Street 100 years ago, we’ve greatly expanded his original mission, adding a robust research and post-doctoral training program, while serving as the safety net dental provider for Rochester residents for decades.  Check out our Centennial website to see the profound impact we’ve had on our community.

One hundred years and a few name changes later, today Eastman Dental is part of Eastman Institute for Oral Health, which is also part of the University of Rochester Medical Center.  Not only are we still providing the highest level of general nd specialized dental care, but we have also become a worldwide leader in oral health research. We train hundreds of dentists from around the world who travel here to be come specialists.
