Dr. Chochlidakis Named Assistant Program Director

Dr. Konstantinos Chochlidakis has been named assistant program director of the Prosthodontic Program at UR Medicine’s Eastman Institute for Oral Health.

Dr. ChcochlidakisAfter graduating from the program in 2013, he worked as Director of Clinical Fixed Prosthodontics at Temple University, Kornberg School of Dentistry, before joining us in 2015 as assistant professor and director of the Prosthodontic Clinic, as well as director of the Dental Materials and Preclinical Removable Prosthodontics courses.

Dr. Chochlidakis is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists and a member of the American Prosthodontic Society and the International Team for Implantology. He is an ad-hoc reviewer for The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and on the editorial boards of the Journal of Oral Biology and International Journal of Dentistry and Oral Science.

He is the principal investigator for several funded clinical studies and is actively involved in mentoring our students for their research projects. He has published several papers and lectured nationally and internationally. 

Dr. Chochlidakis received the 2012 Bibby Fellowship Award and the prestigious Glen P. McGivney Award. He graduated from the University of Athens-School of Dentistry in 2008, and spent two years in private practice in the United Kingdom before being accepted into the Prosthodontic Specialty Program at EIOH and was later named Chief Resident.
