A Great Place to Learn

diverse students get together

The students and faculty were very inviting and friendly when I interviewed here. I got the feeling that peers help each other when needed and aren't super competitive with each other. There is also a lot of collaboration between clinicians and basic scientists which is important for the research I am interested in.

I was drawn to the University of Rochester because of its tightly knit community. It can be very easy to fall into the trap of feeling like a statistic at a large university, but the UR does an excellent job of emphasizing our community and connecting with faculty.
