College TownUR Medicine Dermatology at College Town

The University of Rochester Medical Center's Dermatology Residency Program is based at our modern College Town facility.  This 18,000 sqft state-of-the-art clinic was custom built for Dermatology in 2019 with all the amenities of a modern patient care setting.  Boasting 20’ ceilings and exterior walls of windows, this space houses almost 20 exam rooms along with 10 procedure rooms and an on-site histology laboratory.  A spacious resident workroom is at the hub of this facility which includes patient care for general dermatology, cosmetic and laser dermatology, Mohs micrographic surgery, as well as our robust Clinic Trials Unit.  The learning opportunities abound in this space as it has our lecture/conference room, a multi-headed microscope for dermatopathology teaching, and houses a number of our faculty’s offices.  Finally, this facility is just a short walk from the flagship hospital, Strong Memorial, of the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Red Creek

Our primary satellite office is located at 400 Red Creek Drive in Henrietta, NY, about ten minutes away from College Town and Strong Memorial Hospital. It contains 12 exam rooms, 4 procedure rooms, a phototherapy facility, and faculty and resident workroom. This location also features one of our Mohs practices in a location convenient to patients and residents alike!

Rochester-Calkins Veterans Affairs (VA) Clinic

Veterans Administration Clinic

The Rochester Outpatient VA Clinic, located just a few minutes from College Town and across the street from Red Creek, provides outpatient services for veterans in the Rochester area. Our practice provides dermatology care for our veterans three days out of the week and residents staff these clinics on a rotating basis and maintain continuity clinics at this location.

Monroe Community Hospital

Monroe Community HospitalMonroe Community Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 635-bed chronic-care facility for geriatric and chronically ill patients. A PGY3 or PGY4 resident spends time regularly in the dermatology referral clinic, where they have the opportunity to see patients independently. Monroe Community Hospital is about five minutes away from College Town.
