"I have always had the career goal of doing translational research. At the interview, I had a very clear sense that the curriculum was designed to train Med-Peds physicians, but also gave the flexibility to let residents its residents incorporate into their residency what they wanted to do with in the future with their Med-Peds training and contribute to the specialty. Out of all the programs I interviewed, I really got a clear sense that you had the full support of Dr. Robbins and the Med-Peds faculty. What they advertised as strengths of their program completely rang true, as I was able to easily incorporate opportunities for bench research and be immersed in my clinical interests that complemented my Med-Peds training"

"URMC was not on my radar when I was initially choosing places to interview for Med-Peds. It was at the behest of an ED doc at my medical school who know someone that trained there and suggested that I apply and interview. It was my second interview of the season and I found myself constantly comparing every single other place I interviewed to URMC.
