Sonia Vallabh and Eric Minikel - Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT

Sonia and Eric are currently Ph.D. students at the Broad Institute and Massachusetts Institute of Technology where they have made important discoveries regarding the genetics of FFI. Their journey of scientific discovery and advocacy has taken them from the best research laboratories in the world to the white house. Sonia and Eric's inspiring personal story has been widely covered by the national media, including the New Yorker and The Atlantic. Sonia and Eric will present their latest discoveries and participate in a panel discussion to describe their personal story and efforts to promote research into FFI and other rare genetic disorders.
