The application is pretty straightforward. It’s composed of:

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal Statement
  • Dean’s Letter
  • Transcripts
  • USMLE Transcript (scores)
  • Letters of Recommendations
  • Professional Portrait for ERAS application

Begin preparing for interview season

  • Schedule mock interviews with Student Services
  • Anticipate questions
    • Why this specialty? (Make your answer genuine)
    • Tell me about yourself (Make sure to accentuate your strengths)
    • Know your weaknesses but talk about how you have worked on them during medical school (listened to feedback)
    • Be aware of your non verbal cues
