Medical Student News: David Paul (M.D. '16) recipient of the William and Charlotte Cadbury Award
On November 9, at the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Annual Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland, Class of 2016 medical student, David Paul received The William and Charlotte Cadbury Award from the National Medical Fellowships and the AAMC. David's scientific achievements, in combination with his ongoing mentorship to Rochester city school students, have made him the first-ever UR medical student to receive this prestigious award.

University of Rochester Medical Center faculty were featured in the Democrat and Chronicle last week. Dr. Gina Cuyler, Dr. Nana Duffy and Dr. Linda Clark formed the Black Physicians Network of Greater Rochester, Inc. The annual AOA lecture which will take place on Wednesday, February 10 from 4-5pm in the Class of '62 Auditorium at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry. The keynote speaker will be Robert Horowitz, Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine & Clinical Pediatrics. Please contact Student Services at 275-7923 for more information.
School of Medicine commencement exercises will be held on Friday May 13 at 4 PM at Eastman Theatre. URSMD graduate (MD, '82), Richard Hodes, M.D. will be the keynote speaker.
Teaching Opportunities at the University of Rochester School of Medicine
There are many opportunities to teach medical students at URSMD. Different formats and options include:
Clinical teaching in the clerkships
Small Group teaching
Serving as a Problem Based Learning tutor
Serving as preceptor for 1st and 2nd year medical students
