Cognitive Neurophysiology Lab Research Position
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled researcher to join our team at the Cognitive Neurophysiology Lab based in the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Our lab is pursuing lines of multisensory research in a variety of human clinical populations and murine models. We are looking for someone skilled in data analysis to assist our team with higher level signal processing workflows while starting some exciting new lines of research.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with researchers and clinicians who specialize in a wide scope of developmental disorders. You may spend some time working out of our sister lab at the Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NYC. You will assist in experiments involving 32 to 256 channel EEG systems, EyeLink eye-tracking systems, human and/or murine electrocorticography systems, and fMRI/DTI data from URMC’s 3T Seimens and/or Einstein’s 3T Phillips magnet. This is a minimum-2 year appointment.
You should hold (or be about to receive) a PhD in signal processing, computer science, biomedical engineering, or a related discipline. Experience in biomedical signal processing and a good track record of international publications demonstrating prior experience are required. You should have good programming skills, a strong mathematical background, and an interest in interdisciplinary research.
