Post-Doctoral Research Position – Imaging of Immunity in Infection and Inflammation
Post-doctoral fellowships are available in the Program for Advanced Immune Bioimaging at the University of Rochester Medical Center in the laboratories of Drs Deborah Fowell, Minsoo Kim, David Topham and Jim Miller. The projects are funded by a grant from the US National Institutes of Health and will study immune function in situ at sites of infection and inflammation.
The ideal candidate has a background in biological sciences with experience in the field of immunology and/or cell biology. Research experience in intra-vital multiphoton microscopy, computational image analysis and infectious disease preferred. Candidates are required to be independently motivated, creative, have a desire to develop cutting edge technology and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
