Postdoctoral Position - Xia Lab
Department of Pharmacology and Physiology
Postdoctoral researcher positions funded by NSF, NIH grants and start-up are available to study the molecular and signaling mechanisms of synaptic plasticity in hippocampal, cortical and amygdala neurons, with direct relevance to experience-dependent brain functions such as learning, memory and anxiety. We use electrophysiological recordings, two-photon and confocal imaging, biochemistry, molecular biology and behavioral assays to address critical questions in synaptic plasticity field. More information on our research can be found on the Xia Lab website.
- PhD in Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Physiology or other related field or MD: 0-5 years of relevant experience in research environment is required)
