Postdoctoral Researcher in the Cognitive Neurophysiology Lab
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled researcher to join our team at the Cognitive Neurophysiology Lab based in the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Rochester Medical Center. The successful candidate will oversee recruitment and the collection of fMRI data for a NIH-funded longitudinal study of brain development known as the ABCD study. He or she will ensure that all data is collected with rigorous quality standards by coordinating a team of technicians. He or she will also pursue lines of research related to fMRI in individuals with developmental disorders or learning disabilities and provide guidance to incoming graduate students interested in working with fMRI. The successful candidate must have a PhD in biomedical science with published experience in cognitive neuroscience, systems neuroscience, imaging in children, or imaging in individuals with cognitive impairments, developmental disabilities, or learning disorders. We are looking for a fMRI specialist who can operate as a leader and a mentor for incoming members of the lab. The Cognitive Neurophysiology Lab is situated in the Rochester Center for Brain Imaging and has access to a whole body Siemens 3T Prisma MRI System with 2 parallel transmitter and 64 receiver channels.
