About Massage Therapy
Massage therapy can reduce stress, improve circulation, reduce localized pain, reduce chronic pain like arthritis, help eliminate trigger points, and has even been known to speed soft tissue healing.
The techniques used during a massage vary by client's needs. Usually, however, the disrobed client is covered by a sheet, with only the area being worked on exposed. The therapist then uses a combination of kneading, rolling, vibrational, percussive and tapping movements with the application of oil to reduce friction on the skin.
A Great Gift Idea
Due to their relaxing and invigorating nature, massages make great gifts. We are happy to issue gift certificates in increments of 15 minutes. Holiday gift certificates even come in holiday bags, ready to give.
Fitness Center membership is not required to purchase or redeem massage gift certificates.
