The Innovation Team at the Center for Health + Technology (CHeT) is seeking motivated self-starters with an interest in digital health, patient interaction, and clinical trial coordination. Our ideal Clinical Research Coordinator candidate is adaptable and at ease in both independent and team endeavors. This position is well-suited for individuals pursuing a 2-year clinical research experience before entering graduate or professional school.

The CHeT Innovation team is working to transform healthcare through novel applications of technology to fulfill our vision of providing patient-centered care and education to anyone, anywhere. We have reached almost a million patients with Parkinson disease across the United States and in 70+ countries on 6 continents.

"CHeT provided an unparalleled opportunity to explore and refine my professional aspirations and helped me to discover that my path lay on the business side rather than the clinical side of healthcare. I was able to make the transition to business school and the next stage in my career with confidence. I am grateful for all that CHeT has given me through active mentorship from the leadership, sage advice from colleagues, and true friendships."

The Coordinator Experience

Unparalleled Opportunities

Clinical Research Coordinators are valuable members of CHeT’s clinical study teams. Working with leading experts in movement disorders and decentralized trials, coordinators develop skills and knowledge in all aspects of clinical research. In addition, coordinators benefit from the many opportunities available to them at a top research university — supported and encouraged to engage in professional and educational interests, such as completing graduate certificates and/or degrees, participating in conferences, and contributing to papers and presentations. CHeT coordinators go on to pursue a wide range of educational and employment opportunities nationally.

Rochester is the third largest city in NY but with a small-town feel. The city offers a wealth of arts, music, and cultural happenings, a range of “foodie” destinations, as well as recreational and leisure activities — with the Finger Lakes only a short distance away.
