Catherine A. Humphrey, M.D.

Catherine A. Humphrey, M.D., has been named Highland Hospital’s Chief of Orthopaedics. Dr. Humphrey, an orthopaedic trauma surgeon, specializes in the treatment of difficult and complex fractures.

Dr. Humphrey is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Her practice, which has been based at Strong Memorial Hospital since September 2007, will now operate at the Orthopaedics Center at Highland.

Dr. Humphrey earned her medical degree at the MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Oregon Health and Science University and an orthopaedic trauma fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
