Dr. Joshua Zwart Joins Emergency Department

Joshua Zwart, M.D.
Highland Hospital welcomes Joshua Zwart, M.D., to its Wolk Emergency Department. Dr. Zwart will also spend a portion of his time seeing patients in the emergency department at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Originally from Yellow Springs, Ohio, Dr. Zwart spent six years in Fairbanks, Alaska, going to school and working as a paramedic and firefighter. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. Most recently, he completed his medical residency with the University of Rochester, serving as Chief Resident of Emergency Medicine from 2012-13.
Dr. Zwart is certified in advanced trauma and advanced cardiac life support as well as neonatal and pediatric advanced life support.
In 2012, URMC honored Dr. Zwart with the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Award of Excellence.
