Highland Hospital’s Annual Gala is March 18

Highland Hospital’s 2023 Gala will be held Saturday, March 18 at 6 p.m. at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center. Funds raised through the gala will support Highland’s private bed modernization project. Guests will enjoy both silent and live auctions, impactful patient stories, and lively music by The Swooners. The emcee for the evening is popular WROC-TV anchor Adam Chodak and Gala Co-Chairs are Thomas and Betty Richards and Joseph Nicholas, M.D., and Julie Black.

The Highland Hospital Gala is the hospital’s largest fundraising event of the year. For over ten years, community members and supporters have gathered to celebrate Highland Hospital and raise significant funds to help support the hospital’s signature clinical services and physical plant. Funds raised at the 2023 Highland gala will benefit Highland’s new four-story, 80,000 square-foot tower that will allow the hospital to transform nearly all of its in-patient clinical space to private rooms, mirroring a growing national trend. Private patient rooms improve privacy, create more space for families and visitors, reduce the risk of infection, and help speed recovery. The project will improve patient care and the patient experience, bringing privacy and comfort together with our ongoing mission of excellence in patient- and family-centered care.
