Meet our surgeons

Medical History and Physical

After you attend the Seminar, you’ll receive a call from us asking if you’d like to proceed with your journey. If the answer is yes, great! We’ll get to work scheduling an initial physical. At the physical, you and your physician will:

  •  Go over your medical history.
  • Review weight loss programs you’ve tried in the past.
  • Discuss next steps in the process.

Nutritional Appointments

Following your physical, we will work with you to schedule your upcoming nutritional appointments. First you will attend a Nutritional Seminar with one of our dieticians where you will learn about:

  • Adopting lifelong healthy eating habits.
  • Developing healthy meal plans and menus.

Then you will have a series of one-on-one meetings with one of our dieticians. These appointments with your dietician are the perfect opportunity for us to work together, change eating habits, and properly prepare you for the lifestyle changes that come with weight loss surgery.

Psychological Evaluation

While you are attending your nutrition appointments, you will be responsible for scheduling a psychological evaluation with one of our approved psychiatrists. Having weight loss surgery is a big lifestyle change. This evaluation will help us to maximize your weight loss by ensuring you are mentally prepared for what’s ahead.
