Your Visit

New Patients

Please ask your current primary care provider to forward your records to us before your first appointment. If you are switching to Geriatrics and Medicine Associates as your new primary care provider, contact your insurance company to let them know.

All Patients

  • Please arrive 15 minutes early. If you are running late, call us at (585) 341-6660 as soon as possible. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment.
  • Bring your insurance card(s) to each visit.
  • Co-pays are expected at the time of your visit.
  • Bring all of your prescription and non-prescription medications and vitamins with you to each visit — all bottles and/or packages including inhalers.
  • If you have limited English language proficiency, please notify us of your need for an interpreter and the specific language spoken.

Appointment Cancelations

Call (585) 341-6660 and let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to keep an appointment.

After-Hours Medical Concerns

Call 911 if you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency or go to the nearest emergency room and have the hospital notify our office.

Otherwise, call (585) 327-6660. Our answering service representative will ask for information about your medical concern and will take your phone number. Stay by your phone! The doctor on call will contact you.
