Frequently Asked Questions

About Appointments

Q. How do I Make an Appointment?

A. Fill out our online form or call us at (585) 487-3300, 8 am – 4:30 pm

Q. How Long Should I Plan to be at Your Facility?

A. Generally, your total time will be less than an hour as your results will be mailed to you. You will be contacted by phone (rather than by mail) if additional screening is needed. If you would like to wait for your results or if you require diagnostic imaging, you will need to go to our Red Creek location and you can expect your appointment to take two or more hours.

Q. Is Your Only Location at 500 Red Creek Drive?

A. If you can't come to our main location on Red Creek Drive, you can visit our other locations at Highland Hospital, Penfield, or Anthony Jordon Center. See locations for directions.

Q. Do I Need a Referral From my Doctor?

A. No, referrals are not necessary for screening mammograms; just contact us for an appointment. If you are having symptoms, please see your physician for a referral.

Q. Is an Insurance Co-pay Due at the Time of my Visit?

A. Any co-payment due under your health plan will be billed to you. Most insurance covers mammography in full. If you have questions about your coverage, please contact your insurance company directly.
