Work on Saturday 2/26/22

Crews will be on site Saturday 2/26 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. installing fire proofing in the new tower.

During the week, the tower crane will be in operation with roofing and other activities on site. The 7th floor concrete slab installation is tentatively scheduled for Monday, February 28th starting at 7 a.m. Stair risers are being filled with concrete for easier access is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, March 2nd starting at 7 a.m. The 8th floor concrete slab installation is tentatively scheduled for Friday, March 4th starting at 7 a.m. All concrete finishing has the potential to run late into the night, but will not go past the City of Rochester noise ordinance of 10 p.m.

There is no work scheduled this weekend.

During the week, the tower crane will be in operation installing roofing. The 7th floor concrete slab installation is tentatively scheduled for Friday, February 25th starting at 7 a.m. Concrete finishing has the potential to run late into the night, but will not run past the City of Rochester noise ordinance of 10 p.m. Crews will also be preparing for concrete slab pours with shear studs, rebar, fire stopping sleeves, embedments, and rebar. The stair risers are being filled with concrete for easier access from floor to floor. New tower 7th and 8th floor temporary roofing / vapor barrier is also being installed (weather dependent activity). Interior and exterior framing has started on the 1st and 2nd floors.

There will be no construction work on site this weekend Saturday 2/12 or Sunday 2/13.

During the week, the tower crane will be in operation with the roofing and other activities on site. The 6th floor concrete slab installation is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, February 15th starting at 7 a.m.  Concrete finishing does have the potential to run late into the night but will not go past 10 p.m. per the City of Rochester noise ordinance. Mechanical hangers are being installed on the 7th and 8th floors new decks for future installation of the mechanical piping. Crews are preparing for concrete slab pours with shear studs, rebar, fire stopping sleeves, embedments, and rebar. The stair risers are also being filled with concrete for easier access from floor to floor. Crews are installing temporary roofing/vapor barrier on the 7th floor (weather dependent activity). Interior and exterior framing has started on the 1st and 2nd floors.

Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. For the deep foundation work, any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency.

Depending on the amount of snow received by then and weather conditions on that day, crews could potentially be on site this Saturday 2/5 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. to remove snow from the 7th and 8th floor deck. The crane may also be in operation during this time. Building wrapping may be occurring depending on the weather.

There will be no exterior construction work this weekend at the site.

During the week, the tower crane will be in operation building the super structure steel and steel workers will be detailing the decking the 8th floor. The fifth floor concrete slab installation is tentatively scheduled for Friday, January 28th starting at 7 a.m. Concrete finishing has the potential to run late into the night, the building wrap should isolate us from any impact to neighbors and patients. Mechanical hangers will be installed on the 7th and 8th floors new decks for future installation of the mechanical piping. The stair risers are being filled with concrete for easier access from floor to floor. Temporary building enclosure is being installed using ZAP wrap on the 6th and 7th floors. New tower 7th floor temporary roofing / vapor barrier will be installed (weather dependent activity).
