Construction on Saturday 7/24

Crews will be onsite Saturday, July 24 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. stripping foundation forms, which is similar to the work that was done last Saturday. Tower crane construction may also be occurring on Saturday.

Deep foundation, pile cap and grade beam installation is ongoing and will continue for approximately three more weeks. Excavation and grading work are happening at the same time as the deep foundation installations.

The Mt. Vernon Rd. closure between Rockingham and Bellevue will begin on Friday, 7/23 and last for about a week. This temporary road closure is necessary so materials and a small crane can be staged in the area to build a large crane on the hospital campus, which will be used to erect the patient tower.

Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. For the deep foundation work, any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency.
