North Retaining Wall Update 10/17

Construction began Monday on the new North retaining wall and the scaffolding has been erected. For the remainder of this week and part of next week, repairs will be done on the existing wall to prepare it for the vertical addition on the wall. The project is on schedule so expect to see the screening wall to start appearing sometime around mid-week. Completion date is still scheduled for mid-November. 

No MRI Construction This Weekend

No MRI Construction This Weekend

There will be no work on the MRI construction project on the south end of the building this weekend. Noise of construction next week will include debris being put into the outdoor dumpster.

North Retaining Wall

North Retaining Wall

On Monday, October 14, construction will begin on the brick screening wall on the north lot. On Monday and Tuesday, there will be deliveries to the north parking lot of construction materials. On Tuesday and Wednesday scaffolding will be erected on the exit end of the parking lot along the existing retaining wall. Around October 21, installation of the brick clad screening panels will begin. It is expected to be completed by mid-November.

MRI Construction 10/5 and 10/6

MRI Construction 10/5 and 10/6

Contractors will be working on the MRI replacement project from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 5 and Sunday, October 6 this weekend. This means there will be delivery truck and construction noise of hammering, drilling and sawing while workers install a deck and a temporary door into the construction site.

Generator Testing

Generator Testing

On Friday, October 4, contractors will begin setting up for the annual required electrical testing for two of our generators. This involves temporarily installing two large pieces of electrical equipment on the south side of the building in the turnaround. The test will happen on Saturday, October 5, starting at 7 a.m. and last until around 4 p.m. Generator noise can be expected during this time.
